I can't believe there aren't going to be any of his games next year!! It is such a part of him! For the rest of this season: They had a coin flip with North Hall for 2nd/3rd and they ended up winning it. So, now they play thursday and if they win they go to STATE!! WOOHOO!
I tried to find a way to send you a message privately. Today is definitely one of my weirdest internet moments. My teenage daughter was in the dance studio and I was in the car blog hopping and google the name of a former GA tech volleyball player a friend had mentioned her blog to me. Well anyway instead I landed on your blog and read for a few minutes cause I'm weird like that. I was very surprised to realize I recognized your father. I immediately called my mom and forwarded it to her for confirmation. I came home and looked in my old year books and yes it was the same person. Gosh he hasn't change at all since the 80's. He taught and coached at Campbell of Fairburn when I was in the 8th and 9th grade, I was 13 and 14 way back then. My 3 kids thought it was very weird, they can't believe I recognized someone I haven't seen since I was 14 but agree after seeing yearbook photos and this blog he looks the same! Anyway, I just wanted to share this because it was very strange for me. I live in NorthEast GA about 45 miles northeast of Athens. I left Fairburn in 1988 for college. BTW You have a beautiful little boy!
